As part of innovative learning week at the University of Edinburgh we held our second fix a film day. We had 8 students correct the science in movies.
Ghostbusters – the outtakes.
The first group of students focused on trying to update the science in the Ghostbusters.
They focused on technical problems that meant that some scenes could never have happened. Including the full weight of the proton backs that may cause a problem, electrical current flows, the marshmallow mans, weight to area ratio?
Back to the future: the problems with time travel….
The other group were given the chance to critique Back to the future…
